Fantastic facilities
Sixth Form students have access to all of our main school facilities, as well as spaces exclusively for Sixth Formers. They are able to leave site at lunchtime and during free lessons, but there is plenty of space if you want to stay in school.
Easedale House is the main Sixth Form hub. A large, three-storey house just for Sixth Formers with social space (with vending machine and laptops to loan) on the ground floor, quiet study, collaboration space and the kitchen on the middle floor, and IT rooms on the top floor. You will also find our Sixth Form team in Easedale: Mrs Marley (Assistant Headteacher - Sixth Form), Mrs Duffey & Mr Price (Heads of Year), Mrs Harris (Sixth Form admnistrator) and Jenny Brown (Pastoral Support Assistant) who work together to support Sixth Form students. Students will see our Food Cube arriving soon, as well as our Sixth Form entrance and car parking!
Additional Sixth Form study areas and computer rooms are located in other parts of the school. You’ll also be able to work in the library during free lessons, and make use of the careers library.
Whether you need a quiet place to study or somewhere to hang out with friends, you’ll find a perfect space.
As well as full use of our IT facilities, you can bring your own device and connect to our wi-fi network. We have a business dress code in line with modern workplace practices, helping you to feel relaxed but still professional.
